Please remember your Church and it's ministries in your prayers, our soldiers in harm's way, and especially for the lost...Don't forget to Pray daily for our Country's Lawmakers, that they might be reminded of the Godly Principles that our Country was founded on, as they lead our Nation. God can only continue to Bless our Nation if we keep Him in it, and Remember, He's coming soon!!

We had a great time at Starvy Creek. What a great bunch of musicians & performers. We met a lot of great people at our CD table, and want to thank everyone for all their kind words of support. We want to especially thank Don Day for giving us the opportunity to play there. He really knows how to run a great Festival. We are updating our 'CD Sales' page to give samples of each song on the CD. Just click on the song & it will take you to Windows Live, where you can click on the 'musical note' to download a snippet of the tune.
Many thanks to Paul Meyer of the Meyer Bluegrass Band who took video of us at the Walnut Grove Pickin' at the Park in June. Thanks to him, we can link from our website to YouTube, where he posted 3 videos. You can check out his group at www.meyerbluegrassband.com.
3/29/2010 We have started our new CD project which is, as of yet, untitled. We have been in the studio for the last 2 weeks and have recorded 6 songs to date, with varying degree's of completion on each one. It has actually gone fairly smooth to this point. We can change that in a hurry though! We've got some pretty good songs for this project and hope to have completed and ready to listen to by June.
History of Potters Wheel
Potters Wheel was formed in 2000 by Rex Hart and some of his friends. It was born out of the desire to quit playing music for the world and start using their talents for the Lord. The original group was mostly a country/bluegrass mix, something different, yet original lyrics with great words made it something special. Tragedy struck in 2001, as one of their members went to be with the Lord in a car accident. After a brief period off, they decided to carry on with what they knew was the right thing to do. They acquired a new member, wrote new songs, began to book a few dates, then recorded their first CD in 2002. A second CD followed in 2004 and their bookings began to expand, as God blessed in their ministry. With a couple of personnel changes by 2005, they had a chance to play Silver Dollar City and sing the gospel to people who may never have heard it before. They were invited back in 2006. What a great experience to share the Gospel outside of the Church building. In 2007, their third CD was released as they kept busy all year long, playing at County Fairs, Company Annual Meetings, Revivals, Church Singings and City functions. Potters Wheel is a 'weekend' band, usually only traveling within a 2 hour radius of Lebanon, Mo., but in the past 3 years have kept busy with over 35 bookings each year. Thats a lot of weekends away from home! In 2008, another personnel change was made and their latest CD was released in January of 2009. Three of Potters Wheel members have been together now for 8 years, and what a shower of blessings they have witnessed in this time. They have been invited back to Silver Dollar City again for 2009 and pray that each opportunity they get this year will touch a heart, spur a need for a decision in someone's life, or somehow make a difference as they attempt to glorify the Lord. What an honor it is to live in the United States where we can freely worship the true Living God and to be doing something that we so much enjoy.
